Abstract

Objectives.Improve inventory management and increase logistics efficiency in the company Astillero Luguensi E.I.R.L, Chimbote 2016.

Materials and methods.The research is applied, where the population and sample was formed by 153 and 3 products respectively, for theselection of the sample the ABC method was applied. The observation guide, the registration guide and the questionnaire were used as instruments of data collection.

Results.An annual procurement program was developed, making inventory management effective. The proposal confirms the reduction of inventory costs by 30.47%.

Conclusion.The improvement of inventory management managed to increase the logistics efficiency in the company Astillero Luguensi E.I.R.L.
