Abstract

The objective of this research was to optimize the distribution process to reduce transport costs in thecompany Vitale Dex SAC. The research had an experimental design of the pre experimental type. Thepopulation considered was the 8 distribution zones ofthe company and the non-probabilistic sample wastwo distribution areas: Chimbote and Nuevo Chimbote markets, because in this sector the vast majority ofcustomers are located and, therefore, has a high demand in relation to the other zones and present thegreatest problems in the distribution of routes and faults in their trucks. A network model and a maintenancetool were applied to these zones to determine their effect on transport costs. During the evaluation with theWinqsb software application, S / 4824 soles were saved, while using the mode and effect analysis of faults,S / 68720 soles was saved. It is concluded that the distribution process was optimized, with a 55% savingin transport costs.
