Likewise, the main elements that make up the mechanism were found and we verified results by comparing performance and productivity. The design was made to specifications using SketchUp software. With this, the pneumatic injection system was controlled and the circuit was designed in the FluidSIM software, in order to simulate and validate it. In addition, for the purpose of designing the electrical circuit of the motor and sensors, the CADe SIMU software was used. Data obtained from the collection and weighing of plastic carried out by the District Municipality of Víctor Larco Herrera in said district was also used, which led us to obtain an improvement compared to a manual machine. This was evidenced in the performance and productivity, which would go from being 75% and 28 bottles per minute to being 97% and 37 bottles per minute. Applying this automation is completely justified, since in addition to increasing performance and productivity by reducing the downtime in which operators rested or had breaks, it will also mitigate their fatigue at work, without negatively affecting production.
2022-12-05T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 INGnosis https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2475 Inventory management to increase productivity in an agricultural company 2023-03-17T17:41:55-05:00 Camila Valeria Izaguirre Velásquez cizaguirreve7@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Cinthya Brigitte Sabino Blas csabinobl10@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Lily Margot Villar Tiravantti lvillart@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Ruth Margarita Quiliche Castellares rquiliche@ucv.edu.pe
The present investigation titled inventory management to increase productivity in an agricultural company, for this reason, the investigation was of an applied type, of pre-experimental design, made up of a sample of the data of the productivity of the hand work, found by direct observation technique. For the diagnosis, a Check list was carried out, which determined the problems that most affected, with 40% complying with some aspects for the physical taking of inventories, therefore the initial productivity was low with an average of 6.07 boxes/hh, For this reason, an inventory management design was established, which is the non-stationary deterministic model, in addition, the reorder point, safety stock, MRP, inventory accuracy and the costs of storing and ordering were applied, all this under the results of the forecast, which was based on the simple exponential smoothing model with an error of 7.09%. Through the application of inventory management, productivity was improved by 15%, it is concluded that it directly affects the increase in productivity.
2022-12-15T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 INGnosis https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2476 Design and simulation of a scrap compactor machine 2023-03-17T18:28:09-05:00 Oscar Alberto Goicochea Ramírez oscar.goicochea@upn.edu.pe Dayana Cruz Balarezo N00231538@upn.pe Piero Lázaro Palacios N00098631@upn.pe Diego López Ynca N00184321@upn.pe David Saldaña Miranda N00141541@upn.pe
The present work is carried out with the purpose of designing and elaborating a simulation of a scrap compactor machine for recycling, using a chain transfer conveyor and optical sensors. The aim is to reduce the scrap by compacting it in a fast and easy way, according to its classification, which could give us as results different details and/or information in each one of the different types of recycling. With this a reduction of times and delays in the process is achieved, since everything will be programmed. Mechanical, electrical, mathematical and electronic calculations will be made to achieve the elaboration of this compactor. The scrap can be of different types, whether iron, plastic and paper according to the programming that is given. At the same time, the speed of the conveyor belts can be controlled. The research is experimental in nature because each of the necessary calculations have been developed to reach the final result of this project.
2022-12-05T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 INGnosis https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2477 Application of the TPM in the automatic cutting machine CNC ESAB Suprarex to improve the Overall Equipment Efectiveness 2023-03-17T19:11:16-05:00 Yadira Vanesa Quesquén Polo yquesquenp@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Frederick Xavier Regalado Luna fregaladolu23@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Percy Diaz Chinchayhuara pdiazch@ucv.edu.pe Robert Fabián Guevara Chinchayan rfguevarac@ucvvirtual.edu.pe
The main objective of this research was to implement the total productive maintenance to improve the general efficiency of the automatic cutting machine in SIMA Metal Mechanical. The type of research was applied with an experimental design in the pre-experimental classification, it was pointed out that the study had as a population the 4 oxyfuel cutting machines and 2 cutting machines, the sample was the ESAB Suprarex CNC automatic cutting machine. As a result, the main causes of the low general efficiency of the machine were the unscheduled stops and the high cost of corrective maintenance, in addition, the initial OEE was limited, which had a value of 40%. The implementation of the TPM, through 4 of its outstanding pillars, increased availability from 72 to 80%, performance from 57 to 69% and quality from 99 to 100%, and finally an OEE value of 55% was obtained. It was concluded that the implementation of the TPM increases the OEE of the cutting machine, since it increased by 15%.
2022-12-05T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 INGnosis https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2492 Design and simulation of a pneumatic sorting machine for materials, Trujillo 2022 2023-03-23T16:11:51-05:00 Mario Alberto Alfaro Cabello mario.alfaro@upn.edu.pe Carlos Daniel Aguirre Segura N00185422@upn.edu.pe Stuart Christien Cipiran García N00170130@upn.edu.pe José Manuel Aranguri Hernández N00047227@upn.edu.pe Gabriel Luisin Zapata Baquedano N00175920@upn.edu.pe
In this article, the implementation of a materials classification process (wood, metal and cardboard) is presented for the classification of these materials in the same group, in order to have a better order and control for the storage of these materials. For its elaboration, the formulas for the design of conveyor belts, electrical design and simulation were used in a software used industrially for automated process designs. Also, 4 tests were carried out with 10 tests each, where 10 materials of different types were entered to obtain classification results, with which the operation of the machine and the tests to measure efficiency would be carried out. Finally, it was concluded that the percentage of efficiency was 100% compared with precedents that applied methodologies for similar processes, this being very beneficial for future applications.
2022-12-05T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 INGnosis https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2487 Improvement of processes in the cashier area to increase customer satisfaction in a shopping center 2023-03-22T17:18:10-05:00 Jeferson Acosta Chavarria jacostach12@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Luis Gutierrez Gozzer lgutierrezgo11@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Edgard Vilcarino Zelada evilcarino@ucv.edu.com Ruth Margarita Quiliche Castellares rquiliche@ucv.edu.pe
The objective of the research work is to implement the improvement of processes in the cashier area to increase customer satisfaction in a shopping center in the city of Chimbote. The methodology used was of the applied type, quantitative approach, and pre-experimental design. In the results it was determined that the main ones that generate poor warehouse management are the unestablished logistics methodology; they do not place orders on time; disorder in various areas; they do not record the inputs and outputs of inputs and lack of training; It was determined that the efficiency in receiving orders, days on hand and picking initially came out 0.55 units / man hour, 11.1% and 6.3% respectively; For this, a logistic procedure was established from the purchase order to the delivery of the internal client, an evaluation was carried out for suppliers and the purchases of materials were forecast, the 5S methodology was applied, training was carried out for operating personnel and a design was made. a kardex inventory system. As a conclusion, it was found that the efficiency dimension in receiving orders increased by 0.63 units/man hour; the days on hand dimension decreased by 8.1% and the picking dimension decreased by 4.3%, thus validating the alternative research hypothesis.
2022-12-05T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Cesar Flores Burgos, Jennifer Lama Calderón, Levi Alexander Morales Suen https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2830 Determination of the maturity state of huayco cream peach through image processing with Raspberry Pi 2024-03-12T12:38:51-05:00 Cesar Enrique Santos Gonzales cesar.gonzales@upn.edu.pe Melanie Stephany Caldas Zapata N00203883@upn.pe Ernesto Yago Caldas Zapata N00318076@upn.pe
The following study aims to develop an algorithm that allows determining the state of maturity of the Huayco-type cream peach, a Raspberry Pi 4 model B board, a Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000 webcam with USB connection, a micro-SD card was used and an adapter to view this information on the laptop, in addition the Python and OpenCV libraries were used. The model was previously trained to recognize and analyze images of peaches with open wounds, bruises, pressure marks, mold, among others. To calculate the overall brightness of each image, the RGB format was converted to grayscale and a formula was applied that determines the gray intensity value at each position, obtaining an accurate result. A code was created and executed that, when uploading the image and/or showing the Huayco peach live, shows us its percentage and the state of maturity in which it is, whether fresh, ripe or rotten, all done with Raspberry Pi 4 model B and the Linux operating system. It is concluded that the algorithm with Raspberry Pi and the Tensorflow and OpenCV tools were effective in determining the maturity status of the Huayco cream peach through image processing.
2022-12-05T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Cesar Enrique Santos Gonzales, Melanie Stephany Caldas Zapata, Ernesto Yago Caldas Zapata https://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/ingnosis/article/view/2831 Use of inventory management to reduce warehouse costs of a construction company 2024-03-12T12:54:11-05:00 Augusto Sifuentes Puruguay asifuentespu@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Nasya Sánchez Gutiérrez nsanchezgu5@ucvvirtual.edu.pe Eric Alfonso Canepa Montalvo ecanepa@b2c-peru.com
The main purpose of this study was to apply inventory management to reduce warehouse costs of a construction company.
