Abstract

This study has as an objective to determine the relationship between the communication styles, coercion and sexual activity in secondary students of three educative institutions of Trujillo, 2010. It was used the Couple communication style Inventory, the Sexual coercion Scale and a brief questionnaire of sexual activity. The sample was conformed by 370 female students in a couple condition. We identified the relationship among the sexual coercion and positive and negative communication styles subscales. Also, we identified the relationship between sexual activity and the sexual coercion subscales. In contrast, it was determined the independence between sexual activity and communication styles.
