Abstract

The educative context of higher education have varied in such a way, the complexity of the university professor has increased. In that sense, the study intends to describe the thinking styles, leadership types and educative styles on Cesar Vallejo university of Piura. Intentionally a 100 university professor sample was taken, to whom it was applied the thinking styles questionnaire of Sternberg and Wagner- Forma A, the Organizational leadership scale (OLE) and the educative styles questionnaire. The results indicated the influence of the function of judiciary thinking style, along with the style form of hierarchical thinking. In addition to this they found trends to rational leadership and free emotive and the predominance of the assertive educative style.
