Abstract

This study was executed with a sample of 687 university students from Pucallpa and Lima cities, which were selected by a simple random sampling of the university student's population with ages between 15 and more years old from I to VII cycle. The instrument used was the “Metacognitive Strategies Inventory” composed by 20 items with Likert scale. In the first place, the reliability reached wide acceptance levels (á: .90), through Cronbach's Alpha. The validity was executed by the factorial exploratory analysis and finally it was obtained the testscaling.
