Abstract

The present research aimed to propose the DMAIC-SIX SIGMA Methodology as a tool to improve Productivity in the Completed Product Area of the Artisanal Fishery Company of Chimbote EIRL. The research is applied with pre-experimental design, using as population and shows the productivity values in the Finished Product Area. The methodology used was DMAIC -SIX SIGMA, the situational diagnosis of the production process of Primary Cut of Anchoveta was made throughthe Operational Diagram and Analytical Cursogram of the company, the tool of the DMAIC -SIX SIGMA methodology was applied for the analysis of the process Productive, as well as technical proposals for improvement, evaluating the technical and economic impact they produced. The final perception of the company's sigma level is acceptable, reflecting the increase from 1.8 to 3.7 Sigma, generating economic savings of S/ .9108.75, soles and a more effective Production Process.
