Abstract

Objective.Perform the study times and movements to improve productivity in the process of washingtable water containers in the Q'SED Company in Chimbote 2016.

Materials and method.An adjusted sample of 341 drums to study for the washing work was determined, as well as the objects related to the investigation that were 10 workers of the company.

Results.The study of movements managed to reduce in inefficient movements in 73.33% between 30 to 8, in addition the time was determined the standard of 301.75 seconds, decreasing in 75.16% and having a saving of 912.95 seconds, achieving to increase the productive capacity of 200 to 360 drums daily.

Conclusions.The present work contributed to the increase of labor productivity index and the efficiency of the production in the process of washing of table water containers in the company Q'SED in Chimbote 2016.
