Design of a logistic system for the reduction of costs in the Company Factoría Agromar S.A.C. Chimbote 2016

Abstract

Objective.Design a logistics system for cost reduction for the company Factoría Agromar S.A.C. Chimbote 2016.

Materials and methods.The study is Pre-Experimental type. The population is the total costs and shows the logistics costs of the last year. Forthe diagnosis as an instrument was used the Guide of observation, the matrix of diagnosis of the logistic system and for the development of the design of the logistic system were used as instruments the ABC system, the documentary analysis guide of the optimization of resources, the indicators of Logistics costs.

Results.The design of the logistics system managed to reduce the total logistic costs of the company Factoría Agromar S.A.C de S/. 198.575 to S/. 159,073 soles, obtaining a total decrease of its annual logistic costs of S /. 39,502.41 soles, which is equivalent to a 20% reduction.

Conclusion.The design of a logistics system reduces costs in the company Factoría Agromar S.A, .C. Chimbote 2016
