Abstract

This brief work is about Hans Hahn (1900 – 1969), the nearly forgotten german psychologist that lived a few years in Trujillo city (Peru). He directed the first experimental psychology office in the state university of this city during the last years of the 30s decade. He offered the first universitary course about such subjects and with others, he introduced the objective focus in the peruvian psychology. He also studied the native people psychology and taught in the ancient San Marcos university. Later, he leaved Peru and became a professor in an american institution. The author analyzes his contribution to the local psychology.
