Leadershipand motivation in teachers of private universities Trujillo, 2013

This correlational research main objective was to determine the relationship between leadership and motivation among teachers of private universities in Trujillo, 2013. The sample consisted of 124 men and women teachers University to San Pedro Subsidiary´s Trujillo and Catholic University of Trujillo. The evaluation instruments were the Leadership Style Questionnaire ZELVISAN measuring 4 dimensions related to leadership styles proposed by Robert House (managerial Leadership, Leadership support Leadership achievement oriented, and participative leadership). It also has been used Motivation Inventory measuring 3 dimensions (power motivation, achievement motivation, and motivation of affiliation). After the investigation had shown that there is a relationship between the dimensions of Leadership and Motivation Achievement rates and affiliation, on the contrary it seems that there is no relationship between the dimensions of Leadership and Motivation of Power.
