With the aim of knowing how culture encourages attitudes in men who exert violence towards their partners, a total of 3,202 couplets were collected and studied. Finding through the Software for Text Analysis, T-Lab, 9.1., that in male stereotypes women are conceptualized on the basis of two dimensions: one that fluctuates from rejection of mature women and interested young women, to attraction by young women and their sexual attri- butes, and another that ranges from conventional compared to women “at home” to raw compared to those “on the street.” While in the female stereotype, two dimensions are shown: one that ranges from rejection of men to acceptance of themselves and another that fluctuates from conventional to crude.
