Abstract

This study presents the development of an artificial vision algorithm for avocado selection intended for exportation. The YOLOv7 model was employed using transfer learning to construct the algorithm, achieving an efficiency of 96.36% in identifying avocados suitable or unsuitable for export. The algorithm demonstrates significant potential to enhance agricultural selection processes and warehouse operations, offering an efficient and promising tool to improve quality and competitiveness within the agro-export industry.
