Abstract

The objective of the research was to apply lean service to increase the productivity of the maintenance operations of a naval services company. Materials and methods. The methodology was applied, quantitative approach and pre-experimental design, the population was based on maintenance activities during the years 2022 and 2023 and the sample was made up of maintenance activities between August and November 2022. The tools used were the interview for compliance with Lean Service and the documentary analysis and direct observation for the productivity of maintenance services, the sampling was non-probabilistic. Results. An efficiency that improved from 86.44% to 94.46% was obtained by implementing the Kanban board; In addition, efficiency increased from 70.96% to 91.13% with the implementation of the PERT-CPM, for efficiency as well as effectiveness, the standardization of processes was implemented. Conclusion. Productivity went from an initial value of 0.17 to a post-test value of 0.20, taking advantage of the resources used in service orders, organizing tasks and improving service scheduling.
