Abstract

This research aims Designing a Plan of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), to increase Operational Availability of Critical Equipment. For this, a criticality analysis (AC) was applied, that helped to determine that 80% of the frozen area teams are Critical, respectively it is determined that There is a Generalized Initial Operational Availability of 72.49%. Subsequently, a Modal Analysis and Failure Effects (AMEF) was performed, that helped to determine that 55% of Fault Modes and Effects are Critical. Respectively Decision Tree Maintenance (ALD) applies, which helped to determine tasks to be performed, these are: A Condition (35%), of Overhaul (29%), any Scheduled Maintenance (15%), replacement Cyclic (13%) and Failure search (8%). Plan is then performed Reliability Maintenance Centred (RCM), subsequently, it was determined that the resulting Generalized Final Operational Availability is 88.17%, ultimately we evaluated and compared the Initial and Final Operational Availability determined that there was a generalized increase in the operational availability of 15.73%.
