Revisión por pares

The works received will be submitted to the similarity detection system. A maximum of 10% match will be accepted.

The works received will be subjected to evaluation by external peers, under the double-blind modality, with the purpose of carrying out the respective substantive and formal reviews that guarantee the quality and scientific rigor of the research, as well as its academic-scientific relevance. The evaluators do not know the origin and authorship of the works they evaluate, while the authors do not know the identity of the evaluators.

The result of the evaluation process leads to making a decision about the article, under the following aspects:
1. The article is published without changes.
2. The article is accepted with slight comments (the comments are attached in an opinion).
3. The article is accepted with profound improvements (the improvements are attached in an opinion).
4. The article is rejected (the reasons for the rejection are indicated in an opinion).

The deadlines for the double-blind evaluation process take between 45 and 60 days, as long as the first two evaluators agree in their opinion. If additional opinions are needed, a third evaluator and an additional 30 days will be required for the evaluation and decision.
The final decision remains in the hands of the editor upon receipt of the corresponding arbitrations; in the event of disputes, the considerations of the editorial committee are resorted to.
