Resilience and school life in mexican adolescents

Abstract

With the aim of identifying the level of resiliency and analyzing multiple roles (victim, perpetrator and observer) of bullying and bullying among peers, within the school attended, a sample of adolescents(N =122) of both sexes, between 12 and 15 years of age, were answered the questionnaires of resilience and school violence in basic education findings indicate that the men obtained higher scores on variables associated with the perpetrator and observer. Verified the hypothesis that the resilient individuals showed minorsigns of bullying, variables associated to the observer and the victim, but not for the perpetrator. It is concluded thatresilience canmitigate the impact of bullying in adolescents.
