Abstract

The present work shows the respective use of behavior modification techniques in the analysis of the complex behavior of an albino rat. Also made research is experimental because was manipulated one of the variables (independent) to see the effects of the other (dependent) variable. As objective intends to determine the effects of techniques of behavior modification in the labyrinth secret complex behavior in an albino rat, and to obtain complex behavior conditioning, worked with a two stage design that bears the name of biconditional Univariable, this program is intra-subject and contends two variables, the first (A) that is the base line, then the second (B) is the application of the independent variable. The choice of the experimental subject consisted of the acquisition of an albino rat male 5 months, which is named Sam and for the optimal development of experimentation settled parameters, such as weight control of the subject in order to keep it in a State of deprivation of food hours before carrying out the experimental work, and whose work is based on the physiological motivation of hunger. Enhancer (food), was elected as well as also the working environment are adapted and controlled variables. Finally, could be concluded experimental subject attained the discrimination of stimuli and the increase of complex behaviour thus corroborating the validity of the hypothesis raised to the initiation of the investigation.
