Abstract

The present investigation arises from the need to adapt an instrument to measure the engagement level; beign the objective to determine the psychometric properties from the UWES upon partners of manufacture companies im Moche District. The sample consisted of 317 workers betweem males and females from 18 to 65 years old. Homogeneity indices were performed according item-test obtaining values between .40 and 71, in the AFE highly significative evidence was obtained (p<.01), making possible the formation of 3 factors. The reliability through Cronbach's Alpha showed values between .70 and .89. Finally, significative occupational group related differences were found.
