Abstract

The title of the research is Psychometric Properties of Professional Interests Questionnaire CIPSA in Otuzco high school students, the type of research was instrumental. The sample consisted of 517 high school students, who were chosen through a stratified probability sampling. Regarding the item analysis by correlating item - scale indices ranging from .046-.615 were obtained. Concerning to exploratory factor analysis saturations of the 192 items greater than .20, which are grouped by the extraction of main components method and Varimax procedure, on 12 factors, charging 16 reagents appreciate each; also in the rotation Varimax with Kaiser Normalization - Meyer - Olkin explains 51.095% of the cumulative variance. Confirmatory factor analysis reveals a comparative fit index of .73, likewise a goodness of fit index of .79 and root mean square error of approximation .049 (RMSEA). Regarding the internal consistency reliability through Cronbach's alpha shows the 12 scales from .693-.828. Moreover, general and specific rules were established by percentiles standards. It was found that the questionnaire is properly true for high school students from Otuzco in 2016, noting that only can be used for group research.
