Propiedades psicométricas de la Escala Alteración del Comportamiento en la escuela en estudiantes de primaria de instituciones educativas públicas de El Porvenir

This study aimed to determine the psychometric properties of the Disturbance of Behavior at School Scale on elementary students from El Porvenir schools. The sample was obtained through probabilistic and stratified sampling, it had 300 students of the 3 most representative public schools from the mentioned district, of both sexes and with ages between 6 and 11 years old. The Cronbach’s Alpha on the factor 1 was .83, which means that it has a good reliability. Also, the Cronbach’s Alpha on the factor 2 was .70, which means that it has a respectable reliability. It was showed an acceptable adjustment on the unifactorial model and a good adjustment on the bifactorial model, which is the best construct not only to size, but also to explain the variable for the sample that is mentioned. Both factors explain together 41.1% of the variance. Finally, there were significant differences of ages on the first factor and on the whole test and considering that, percentile norms were built. In conclusion, the ACE scale presents a good validity and a very good reliability, being a usefull instrument on the educative field.
