Abstract

The case study was carried out in the city of Trujillo, with a couple of cohabitants, who came to present problems in the relationship. A treatment plan was designed and applied based on the principles and techniques of Systemic Therapy, including ideas from Solution-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Gottman's model. The duration was 8 sessions, where workable treatment objectives were established, in addition to relapse prevention. The Family Cohesion Evaluation Scale - FACES III was used to quantitatively measure changes before and after treatment, as well as the progress scale in each session to know the progress. The results achieved demonstrate the achievement of proposed objectives.
