The present work is based on providing a solution to problems related to ergonomic risk that can cause health damage. For this project, the postures of workers in industrial companies that perform office functions or control and operation of machinery such as one of the causes; Therefore, the objective is to develop an algorithm to monitor it and at the same time alert when the posture needs to be corrected. This will require the use of the Python programming language and the installation of libraries with artificial vision such as Cv2/open CV that They will help process the images in real time which are captured through a camera, and according to the programming code, the reference points are taken in relation to the body posture in such a way that it allows validating that its operation is ideal. As a result, an efficiency of 94% was obtained, which shows that it is a reliable algorithm and that over time, thanks to technology, it has had increasing effectiveness.
