Proposed technical improvement in the planning of preventive maintenance of the fleet of Komatsu loaders in Bayóvar WA800-3EO mine. Sechura 2014

Abstract

This research aims to design a technical proposal for improvement in the planning of preventive maintenance of the fleet of Komatsu loaders Bayóvar WA800-3EO in the mine, located in Sechura-Piura; for this production reports, management and intervention history chargers fleet in the last 24 months were analyzed, enabling diagnosis of current maintenance service behavior by analyzing its key performance indicators, and also analyze the impact of the availability of such equipment in production also design a system of planning and scheduling maintenance service operations, thus enabling making the master production schedule made the distribution of services per week and planning requirements materials for the amount of inputs that will be required to adequately fulfill the predicted services. It is evident that reducing the amount of current workforce of 09-08 technicians, and covering the missing hours in high demand extra services and temporary hours will allow save 10.04% or USD 10264.8 in the next 12 months.
