Abstract

The objective was to improve the work performance in companies in the field of impressions through an ergonomic system. The research was of a pre-experimental type, taking as a reference a population of 15 companies, and applied to a sample of 5 companies.Likewise, the diagnostic process was used to analyze the working conditions in which the activities were carried out and to identify the risks and dangers. The hazard identification and risk assessment (IPER) methodology was used according to the OSHAS 18001 Standard, to identify the disergonomic risks. The whole body rapid assessment (REBA) method was also applied. The main results were that with the application of the "Initial Identification List", which was used for the diagnosis, negative evaluations of 58% and positive of 42% were obtained, with the IPER tool, 25.30 points were obtained for the plotting service, indicating a moderate level of risk according to the risk assessment and classification table (IPER). Likewise, with the REBA method, the plotting service reached an average of 7 points, indicating a "medium" level of risk and after the application of the ergonomic program it decreased to 3 points. The study concluded that the ergonomic system improved the work performance going from a skill percentage of 93% at the beginning of the diagnosis to 107%.
