Abstract

This research report determines the influence of the Power Generation Plants with RER Renewable Energy Resources in the generation offer, for which an analysis of the supply, maximum demand and current energy generation reserve and its behavior is carried out. statistical. An analysis is made of investment costs and variable operating costs, based on the 4 auctions held in Peru. Next, the behavior of the maximum demand, supply and reserve of electric power generation for the period 2.017 to 2.023 is determined. It has been determined that in the short term the presence of the RER plants will contribute to the coverage of the Maxima demand by partially operating the total of its capacity or otherwise it will be able to operate with all its capacity as base units, displacing the thermoelectric plants with natural gas of simple cycle and combined cycle. The entry of 2,280.8 MW has been planned predominantly with solar and wind power plants, which increases the percentage share of RER plants by 14.5%
