The management of the supply system is essential for the operations of a company to be sustainable over time. The study applied to this company had the objective of reducing warehouse costs by establishing the supply system. The research was of non-experimental transversal design; with a population of 368 products, with an adjusted sample of 125 products. Surveys were applied to determine the level in which the system was located, historical sales data were processed and the products were prioritized through the ABC analysis. The forecast model was determined that coincided with the real behavior of the sales of the hardware company, taking the Absolute Mean Deviation (MAD) as a reference. The materials requirement matrix and the EOQ were elaborated, the costs per order and the storage costs of each unit per year were calculated. The supply system was found at a MEDIUM management level of 93.75% for orders, and MEDIUM (81.25%) for purchasing management and 93.75% for warehouse management. The forecast with seasonal index was the most suitable for the system, the costs per order were 22.78 soles and the storage cost was 0.56 soles, the EOQ was calculated for each product and the MRP was elaborated with the WinQSB program. When the quantities of orders were reduced to 53.79%, benefits were obtained that contributed in reducing costs by 26%.
