The present thesis aimed to standardize the dosage of antifouling used in the evaporation process to reduce the mechanical cleaning time of the evaporators. Through the development of the thesis, in the situational diagnosis, it was identified that the process of evaporation is the one that the longest mechanical maintenance demands, being this process fundamental for the taking of working times of each element of the activity of mechanical cleaning of the evaporators. For data processing, engineering techniques were used, such as the time study, which were processed in the Excel program. The times of the two types and doses of antifouling were compared, showing that the LIPESA antifouling at a doseof 9 parts per million (PPM), allows reducing the mechanical cleaning time of the evaporators. Based on these results, a suitable working method was used using the Lipesa antifouling, which allowed to reduce the time of the mechanical cleaning activities of the evaporators by 14%.
