The mean objective of the research was to implement5S to increase productivity in production line 1of the water bottling plant. With an experimental design, the study population was the productivity data and the productivity values from february to july of the year 2016. Through the situational diagnosis, it was determined that 100% of the workers were not aware of the 5S and there was no systematic plan for the management of the organization and cleaning of line 1 of production. The use of specific formats for the evaluation of the steps of the 5S methodology allowed to determine the existence of 55% of necessary materials and 45% of unnecessary materials. The implementation of the necessary actions to fulfill the conditions of each "S" resulted in obtaining 46% of useful materials and only 10% of little useful; 60% of the areas are not standardized and 40% are standardized. The initial evaluation of the implementation reported a compliance of 66.18%. The impact assessment of the 5S implementation on productivity was based on daily production records, which showed an increase of 29%. The research clonclude that with the implementation of the 5S the productivity varied from 103.41L of ozonated water / hr to 133.39L of ozonizedwater / hr which represents a 29% increase.
