Influence of the increase of the effective power in cogeneration of energy of the company Cartavio S.A.A – Peru

Abstract

It has been determined the influence of the effective power generated by the turbine generators Company Cartavio SAA in the characteristics of cogeneration, performing a study of the thermal demand, electrical, and thermal power supplied bagasse stock available, with the purpose to validate the hypothesis of this investigationleading to an alternative solution that can cover the entire electricity demand and generating surplus effective power which is injected into the National Interconnected System considering the Electrical Performance Cash provided for in Regulation Cogeneration Peru. It has been determined that the increase in the effective power of 9.5 MW generation can fully cover the demand required by the company and qualify with REE injection of 0.378 to 1 MW of effective power over our cogeneration system.
