Financial performance evaluation of Peruvian industrial companies sector, period 2010-2014

Abstract

This document presents the financial performance results of an evaluation of the Peruvian industrial sector during the period 2010-2014. For this purpose, the financial statements of the selected companies that appeared on the official website of the Lima Stock Exchange were used as sources of information. This research is a quantitative approach and non-experimental design at a descriptive level. The sample chosen, for convenience, comprises 7 companies from the Peruvian industrial sector, the analyzed dimensions were: growth, efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness. The results show that during the period 2010-2014 the average financial performance of the sector had worsened.
