Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and reflect on the structural location of the function of managing human talent in organizations in the context of administrative theory. This is a documentary investigation, with a qualitative approach, in which various theoretical contributions are reviewed on the basic managerial or managerial functions, on the concept of organization as an object of study of the Administration and on the determination of its epistemological nature. The conclusions aim to consider the function of administering human talent as one of the basic managerial functions that are developed in a social institution or organization, which has become the object of study of Administrative Science.
