Level of lifestyle and its relationship with self esteem and social support in nursing students

This research is a descriptive, correlation, cross sectional study aimed: to determine the level of lifestyle and its relationship with self esteem and social support in nursing students from the University of Trujillo, César Vallejo. The sample consisted of 136 students. Questionnaire was administered to 48 items lifestyle 20 to measure social support and self- esteem Rosenberg scale. We used SPSS version 14, and the Chi2 test. The significance level was set at p < 0.05. The result show that 54.4% scored at an average level of life style and in terms of its size, the exercise revealed a 78% in the lower and middle followed by nutrition with 65% in the same levels. Self-esteem levels are of 45.59% for the average and a 21.32% for the low level Significant relationship between lifestyle and self-esteem, but no significant relationship between lifestyle and social support for nursing students from the César Vallejo University of Trujillo.
