Abstract

A quantitative study, not experimental, transectional, correlational, which interest was in answering the following problem: Exists significant difference between the academic performance reached by the students of 6to and 7mo cycle Academic Professional of the School of Laws of the Cesar Vallejo University that they realized his/her studies with meetings of learning in block, with regard to the group of students who realized his/her studies with meetings of learning segmented? For it, I proposed in terms of aims, to establish the difference in the academic performance of the meetings of learning in block, with regard to the segmented ones; to determine the academic performance that the students reach in 8 courses, after the application of the meetings of learning in block and segmented; and to determine the percentage of approved pupils, dismissed and disqualified in the same courses, applying both types of meetings. The results obtained from this study, reveal that the academic performance with the meetings of learning in block is better, in some courses, to the academic performance with the meetings of learning segmented. This way, of eight courses, four had better academic performance with the meetings in block and only one had better performance with the meetings type segmented. Of three remaining courses there were no significant differences.
