Dyadic adjustment incidence and sense of humor in marital satisfaction

Abstract

The significance of studying the marital satisfaction lies in the fact of look for an explanation about why couples feel they have reach marital satisfaction. Since that our objective was to study the importance of the sense of humour and the didactic adjustment in the marital satisfaction in married couples (sample of 170 people) in Concepción city, Chile, through an explanatory study, with a non experimental design of prospective causal transeccional. That Study was implemented through the Marital Satisfaction scales, Didactic Adjustment and Sense of Humour Multidimensional Scale. We observed that the sense of humour as well as the didactic adjustment, make possible to build satisfactory marital systems that make stronger the marital dynamic of the couples that were studied.
