Anxiety, depression and demographic factors in students of the National University of Trujillo.

Abstract

The study assembles the diagnoses of the anxiety and depression in a sample of 373 students, distributed in 12 faculties, of the National University of Trujillo. The
analysis allows establishing the distribution of the students as for demographic
factors, according to faculty, age, sex, origin. The results demonstrate that the
students of the faculty of Engineering present a percentage raised in the level of
anxiety and the faculty of Medicine with level of significant depression, also it
appreciates the university students and the students proceeding from provinces with significant percentages in the levels of anxiety and depression
