Abstract

A quasi-experimental study was made to determine the effectiveness of prayer for family satisfaction in university women students with two groups from January to December 2007. 73 students were randomly selected and put into two groups, the control group of 66 students and the experimental group of 7 students. The latter group underwent the Prayer Workshop based on the “Verbum Di” Missionary Fraternity and family satisfaction was measured using the Olson and Wilson Scale of family satisfaction. The results show that the prayer workshop is effective in family satisfaction (p< ,01).
