Abstract

The work, historiographic, examines the life and work of Drs Walter Blumenfeld and Reynaldo Alarcón, two paradigmatic figures in the history of Peruvian psychology. They showed objective guidance in the study of psychological phenomena, both are researchers and promoters of their own research methods of modern science and psychology, psychometric orientation in our country. It discusses his early contributions, and their main findings in the scientific approach of the psychological study of Peruvians. Dedicated to scientific research, their contribution has fine methodical thoroughness are important for strengthening scientific psychology in Peru.
