Self - efficacy and happiness in entering a private university of Trujillo

Abstract

The present investigation, of design transeccional correlacional, established the relationship between the self-efficacy and the happiness. For such an end one worked with a sample random probabilística of 318 students, with a sampling error of 5%, representing a population of 1552 of de first semester to a private university of Trujillo during the semester 2011-I. To the representative sample they were applied the Scale of General Autoeficacia of Schwarzer and Jerusalem and the Factorial Scale to measure the Happiness of Reynaldo Alarcón. Among the obtained results it is observed that direct relationship exists between the autoeficacia and the happiness(p<0.01).
