Abstract

This study has as its principal objective to show whether there is a relation between family satisfaction and mental health, measured by the scale of family satisfaction and Goldberg's questionnaire on general mental helath( GHQ-28), respectively. A sample of 1,848 students beginning studies at the Cesar Vallejo University in the academic semester 2008- I was used. The results show that no correlation exists between the variables studied.
