Resilience and attitudes towards domestic violence in La Libertad

The investigation "Resilience and Attitudes towards domestic violence in La Libertad.", Aimed to determine the relationship between resilience and attitudes toward domestic violence. It was a descriptive correlational study and allowed to joint theoretical and empirical contributions about resilience and family tension. The sample consisted of 319 victims of domestic violence who attended the various public institutions. The results showed that there is a positive correlation, intermediate and highly significant between resilience with attitudes to domestic violence, with attitudes to the couple, group, and social norms. There is a positive, weak and highly significant correlation resilience and selfesteem. Construct validity of both tests was performed confirming the high correlation between items. Psychological realities facing many families where there is violence concluded statistically, whereas resilience facilitates the development of skills that allow the victim to proactively adapt to adversity.
