Abstract

The increase in the population of people from older age has led to an extensive literature on predictors of mortality and survival. Although many factors contribute longevity, most studies have focused on biomedical aspects such as the influence genetics in survival. However, knows that certain social characteristics and Psychological factors could also influence gene expression, limiting their possible effect. There are many non-biological factors that contribute to a long life expectancy. The impact of aspects such as lifestyles and the use of of time, activities, social resources and personality on health, survival and risk mortality.
