Empirical evidence of an organizational anomie the measure in brazilian workers

The organizational anomie refers to inefficiency of the individual norms and values in their work, which contributes to building a perception of a lack of organization's suitability for the social and labor development, leading the employee, when timely, act deviant way. This study intends to check the consistency of the factor structure of organizational anomie scale in Brazilian workers. The study included 290 employees of public and private companies in the city of João Pessoa, 18-68 years old, with the majority being women, college graduates and singles. Responded to organizational anomie scale consists of 19 items, in which the respondent should indicate on a scale type Likert how much agreed with the reports of items. By Amos Grafics program 21.0, observed psychometric indicators that demonstrated the hypothesized factor structure. Overall, it stresses the importance of this measure is to identify factors that affect the decisions and behaviors of people in the work, as well as the organizational strategic development in relation to productivity.
