Abstract

The document below is part of a research on the meaning of life carried out in the University of Salamanca on 2324 young students belonging to different educational stages. The scale that has been applied is Noblejas (1994) for PIL(Purpose in Life) test in a sample of Spanish population according to the criteria of Crumbaugh and Maholick (1969). The levels of indefiniteness relating to the meaning of life obtained are interpreted as a range of possibilities for education action oriented to the students' comprehensive learning, according to the current European legal framework. The contribution of Logotherapy and Positive Psychology is especially highlighted.
