The present research was mainly focused on the analysis of difficulties that audiovisual translators often face when dubbing. In addition, different techniques that can be used to deal with such difficulties were proposed. This work is important since it contributes to the study of dubbing as a method of audiovisual translation. It analyzes and classifies the main difficulties with their corresponding translation techniques. In this qualitative research, sixteen scenes were selected both in the original version and in the dubbed versions. These were classified according to the difficulties found and according to the translation technique used at the time of the dubbing. The analysis of the comparative tables showed that the difficulties present were mainly cultural and linguistic in nature.
