In this article, studies carried out on the phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidants of the species of the Caprifoliaceae family described in the scientific literature are identified. For this, a systematic review was carried out in three databases (Scopus, Scielo and ScienceDirect), applying keywords in Spanish: Caprifoliaceae, stangea and with keywords in English: phenolic, flavonoid and antioxidant. The total search in the international and national database, showed more than 1700 documents, which were filtered and excluded in a pre-established way, resulting in four investigations, allowing to identify the analyzes on species of the Caprifoliaceae family and their application in processed products.
