Efficiency factors associated with the quality of education at primary education in Peru

The object of present study was to evaluate the efficiency of regional factors associated with the quality of education at primary education in Peru. The source of regional comparison were the achievements of the ECE 2012 for second graders. The regional factors studied were grouped in resources of education; teaching resources; school infrastructure and furniture; and access to ICTs. The efficiency factor was assessed using the simple and multiple linear regression, with selection factors by the Stepwise method.The most effective factors were access the percentage of schools with Internet access, number of students per teacher and percentage of public schools with sufficient tables. Finally, it was agreed that student assessment should be an educational priority.
