The gratitude concept from a psychological perspective

The investigation presents a review of the gratitude concept from a psychological perspective. In that way, as an affective behavior, it is a conscious reaction, which produces an evaluative process, clearly positive, of a subject who receives a favor from a giver, or a substitute person, and it is express through thankfulness. But gratitude does not extinguished with thankfulness, it has in its memory a cognitive component which, usually, attributes timelessness to good actions. Also, it is presented a panoramic vision about the positive psychology to contextualize the scientific study of gratitude, additionally; it gives some investigation lines that provide the theme.
