Abstract

Migrations result as a risk factor for mental health, due to they cause requirements and demands in order that redefine previous behaviors and implement new ones. It aims to identify the impact of migration in the migrants' psychic reality, especially on the suicide potential and the reality ego functions. The instruments used are: the Psychodiagnostic Rorschach test, Evaluation from the Adult Potential Suicide Scale and the Reality Ego Functions Scale. The sample is composed for 80 cases of migrants and 80 no migrants subjects. The results analysis allow to predict that migrations impact in the ego function and selfdestructive aspects of migrants.
