Propiedades psicométricas del cuestionario de orientación de meta en futbolistas profesionales

Abstract

The aim of the present work was to determine the psychometric properties of Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire in Spanish translation of a sample of 111 Peruvian professional soccer players between 17 and 35 years belonging to different clubs (5 clubs) in Metropolitan Lima. We studied the content validity, construct validity and reliability. The results indicated that the questionnaire has content validity and factorial structure coincided with the factorial structure proposed by the instrument (task and ego orientation). However, the internal consistency was acceptable. Therefore, this instrument has acceptable levels of validity and reliability to be used in professional soccer players our environment in future research.
